Power Yoga | Stretch & Restore
I’m a Moab native who has been practicing yoga for 8 years, teaching for two. I teach yoga to help my students facilitate a connection to the self. The playlists I bring to class are unique and the music is upbeat.
My flow difficulty ranges from beginner to intermediate & is strength focused, cues are engaging and the goal is always personal alignment. 3-5 minutes of core are a recurring peak of class.
Jill Kuzman
RIZE CLASSES
Power Yoga
Jill began practicing yoga in 2013 during her recovery from a broken femur and pelvis. Unbeknownst to her at the time, this was the beginning of a new life path. Her yoga journey has now brought her to India twice and fulfilled over 500 hours of training in the practices of Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin and Restorative.
In her classes you can expect a challenge, an air of positivity and a reminder that yoga is a practice of growth and healing. When not teaching in the studio, she can be found mountain biking, BASE jumping and doing handstands absolutely everywhere.
Tara Deryck
RIZE CLASSES
Movement + Meditation
My name is Tara Deryck and I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Initially it was simply one of the many fitness activities my mom had gotten into and I just tagged along. I spent years practicing on and off, always coming back to it when I was feeling out of touch with my physical body or on shakey ground with my mental state. Upon adulthood I found a deeper relationship with the meditative side of the practice and that’s what keeps me hooked!
I decided to pursue my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 both as an opportunity to learn more about the practice for myself and how to share that by being an example for others. Following that I took a Meditation + Mindfulness Instructor Certification as well as a Restorative Yoga Certification.
Seeking to know and show balance, through fully engaged physical and mental practices. Recently, moving to Moab has been a huge inspiration. Finding balance between the many things to do and see and also honoring my body’s need for rest is such an amazing opportunity.

Soul Play Yoga
I began practicing yoga in earnest in the early 2000s. I took an immersion with Sianna Sherman in 2005 and completed my 200-hour certification with Amy Ippoliti in 2007.
More recently, my primary yoga teachers are Jeanie Manchester, Noah Maze, and Adam Ballenger. I gravitate towards an alignment-based practice with plenty of room for philosophy and play.
I strive to stay humble and curious in my practice so that I can continue to grow as a student and teacher.
Porscha Doucette
RIZE CLASSES
Rest & Renew Yoga
Porscha’s journey into yoga began in 2010 as a way to heal from trauma and injury. As the combination of yoga’s physical, spiritual, and philosophical aspects created a pathway into a more full and present life, she quickly fell in love and decided to pursue teaching. In 2012 she completed a 200hr teacher training in Hatha Yoga from Monica Cullinane and the Academy of Yoga. She has also studied with and assisted Tias Little since 2017. Through Tias’s school, Prajna Yoga, she completed a 150hr certificate in SATYA (somatic awareness training) in 2019 and will soon finish a 500hr teacher training.
Porscha’s classes aim to balance physical mobility, stability, and strength, with fluidity of spirit, and a deepening awareness of self and collective. It’s a tall order and one she is always working to refine through her own inner work and new trainings. She became a certified Neuro Somatic Intelligence (NSI) practitioner in 2025. After years of weaving NSI’s neuro drills and focus on nervous system health into her own practice, she has seen how they help her show up more fully for life’s many beauties and difficulties, and is excited to share this powerful practice.
Outside of teaching, Porscha’s life revolves around nature and the rhythm of the seasons. She grows and makes as much of her own food, tea, and herbal medicinals as possible. This keeps her in a cherished cycle of excitement, creativity, sunshine, overwhelm, burnout, gratitude, and acceptance. She loves to hike in Moab’s canyons and mountains and swim in the river—or hide away inside with her husband, two kitties, tea, and a good book or game.

Tierra Groff
RIZE CLASSES
Mat Pilates
Meet Tierra:
Tierra began her movement journey as an athlete, spending many days outside skiing, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, and one day in to the hot room for a Pilates class. She was immediately taken aback at how, after so much of her own exercise practices, she was challenged by this seemingly easy body weight training. She began attending regularly for a year, amazed at how well her body performed in her daily activities, and was delighted when a friend recommended her teacher training. She started her training a year ago, in the fall of 2023, and has been teaching passionately ever since. Still growing and learning, she is moved by every individual that attends her class and is constantly exploring new flows and styles to include all bodies.

When Lindsay is not on the mat at Rize, you can find her hiking or skateboarding with her cute Underdog, Odin.
